Assistance Activities for Determining Novelty in Academic Writing

The existence of novelty in an academic article is crucial as a distinguishing element. However, not all academic articles successfully present novelty, leading to frequent rejections by reputable journals. This often occurs because authors have good ideas and writing but fail to showcase their novelty. Recognizing the importance of novelty in providing new solutions for new problems and phenomena in society, this assistance activity was initiated. Its purpose is to support participants, particularly lecturers at Halu Oleo University, in developing writing ideas and producing novelty in reputable academic articles.
