Abstract

This community service activity aims to revitalize the interest of Archaeology students at Universitas Halu Oleo through an educational visit to the Southeast Sulawesi State Museum. Although students possess a strong theoretical background from their studies, they often require practical experience to connect theory with actual historical objects. This visit was designed to provide direct interaction with local archaeological collections, thus fostering a deeper appreciation for cultural heritage. The outcomes of this activity indicate an increase in understanding and a renewed passion among students for studying archaeology. As a result, this program successfully facilitated students in forming a stronger connection to their subjects of study, reaffirming the important role of museum visits as an effective educational tool within the archaeology curriculum.
